The Mooroolbark Heights Reserve will be receiving brand new lights under a Coalition State Government, Kilsyth MP David Hodgett announced today.
The new lights will be a great asset to both the Mooroolbark Football Club and the Mooroolbark Cricket club and their players during training periods at night with all areas of the main oval illuminated.
“This is fantastic news for the Mooroolbark sporting community,” David Hodgett said.
“These lights will vastly improve the lighting at Mooroolbark Heights Reserve, and allow the teams to train at night on all parts of the ground.”
“This is really exciting news for the Mooroolbark community, and the local clubs who use the reserve.” Mr Hodgett said.
“The Coalition is 100% behind grass roots sports in our area. We have a wonderful sporting culture in my electorate, and I am always thrilled to support our local junior and senior clubs,” Mr Hodgett said.
Mr Hodgett said the lights would be constructed if a Baillieu Coalition Government was elected on November 27th.
